Fun in the sun!

Last weekend the family and I had a little fun in the sun! We started our day off at Moody Gardens Water Park to meet up with some friends.

Jadyn had a blast.

On our way home we noticed a lot of commotion going down at the beach. Turns out it was Galveston's 25th Annual Sand Castle Contest. Of course we had to go down and see what it was all about.

Tangled is (Jadyn's favorite movie) the only movie Jadyn will sit through from start to finish and sometimes over again.

Aren't these amazing?

On our walk home we had to stop for 20 minutes just so Jade could play in the sand.

And shortly after we got home I found my two sleepy heads like this :).

It's about time!

I have a confession… I am the Worlds Worst Blogger! I know this because everyone tells me so and I have not written a post since a little after Jadyn was born. Well, she is now 18 months old and I think it is about time. You see I love to spy on all my friends and see what they are all up to but I never take the time to post anything myself. Maybe it is because I am a little bit lazy? Or maybe it is because I am not that great with computers? Any hoot, I am going to try and blog at least once a month. You think I can do it??? I figure it will help me to take more pictures and keep somewhat of a scrapbook of our lives.

So here we go…

What’s new with the DiGiovanni’s you ask?

Ryan got into the University of Texas Medical Branch and has already finished up with his first year of medical school. He has honored or high passed all of his classes and we could not be prouder!

Jadyn is defiantly little miss personality. She is our walking talking Diva. And she sure keeps me busy! She loves to sing and dance around the house and is always getting into mommy’s makeup and jewelry. And she never leaves the house with out her purse (not even joking).

As for me I have managed to stay busy. If I’m not chasing after my baby or cleaning the house you can find me crafting up a hair bow for Jadyn or making another decoration for the house.

For Easter this year we stayed home in Galveston.

Went to our first Easter Egg Hunt.

Ryan and I where able to go on our first little get away since the baby's been born. We went cruising down to Mexico.

Chichen Itza

Swam with some dolphins.

Then we meet Jadyn in San Antonio to visit family and stop at the zoo.

Up to Dallas to hang with the rest of the DiGi clan.

Did a little dance.

And eat to much good food.

Came back for just a few days and then headed straight to California for my little brother’s graduation.

Got a mani and pedi.

And lastly went blueberry picking at the blueberry farm.

As you can see its been a busy and fun month!

Jadyn Faye

Jadyn is finally here!!! She was born December 2nd weighing 6.6 and 18 1/2 inches long. The delivery went great. She is so much fun and such a good baby. We love her and feel so blessed to have her in our lives.

It is getting closer and Whit looks more beautiful each day :)

Little Jadyn has her bed set-up, car seat ready, and all her clothes washed and folded! Next up is her first book, which I will be picking up later this week.

Jadyn often agrees with daddy thus far through use of using mommy's bladder as a punching bag.
